I’m Jillian Hughes!

Wife to R.J. Hughes, mom to Jemma and Henry, and currently pregnant with another blessing due in May 2024. Having a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and the desire to become a victim’s advocate (which I achieved), this was not the path I thought God would have for my life. I dreamt of world travel for advocacy work, living the corporate life, and being the “bread-winner” for my family. However, a car accident in 2018 took me out of the field, and God humbled me to reveal my true purpose: being a mom, a Godly wife, and a bread maker.

I’m not perfect, and to this day, God still humbles me in many ways as I break generations of being taught independence, terrible marriage advice, and pursued self-driven passions. But I have gained many years of experience in knowing what it means to biblically submit to your husband, cultivate a healthy God-centered marriage and family, and shift my passions from selfish desires to fulfilling God’s plans for me. This journey has brought me to where I am now—helping other millennial moms like me who are seeking ways to strengthen their marriage in Christ, looking for advice in raising their children with Christian values, and witnessing for themselves that following God’s plan is 1,000% better than any plan they could have created for themselves.
